Using Penny
Penny is currently in private beta. Customer subscriptions are disabled until payment setup and launch details are confirmed.
Campaign controls
You choose a specific post or all posts, a trigger word, messages, and a destination. New comments containing your trigger word can start the automation. Penny checks that source posts belong to your connected X account.
Permission comes first
Contact only people who explicitly requested a DM. AI conversations respond directly to incoming DMs or matching keyword comments. Saved-message campaigns ask for YES before sending their link. A reminder is offered only when it is included in that permission request. Honor opt-outs and use X in accordance with its automation rules.
Usage and availability
X API access and charges are separate from a Penny subscription. Local spending controls use conservative usage estimates; the X developer console remains the authority for actual charges and account-wide limits. X permissions, recipient settings, service availability, and rate limits can affect delivery.
Subscriptions
The Subscription page shows preview plans during private beta; customer billing is paused. Once billing is enabled, the price and billing interval will be shown in Stripe before payment. An eligible free trial includes up to 50 automated DMs on one X account for 7 days. A card is required; the selected monthly subscription starts after 7 days unless canceled beforehand. Reaching the trial DM or fair-use allowance pauses automation without billing early. An early paid upgrade requires your confirmation. Existing subscriptions can be managed or canceled through Stripe’s customer portal.
